Every chapter so far has been an invitation. This one is the village it came from. Avelis began the way the best things do — small, among people known for who they were, not what they owned. A handful of hands who loved the water, a couple of boats, and a belief that a day at sea should feel like coming home. We are still that village, only larger, keeping watch over the marinas at Keppel Bay and ONE°15 at Sentosa Cove.
Avelis is the umbrella. Each business is an expression of the same belief — the through-line is never the vehicle, it is the people and the standard. A yacht, a car, and a jet are simply different rooms in the same village.
The first voice you’ll hear and the one who remembers what you said last time. Shaun looks after the people — owners, guests, and the friendships that keep coming back to the marina.
The reason every line is coiled and every engine hums before you arrive. Fred tends the fleet the way a good host tends a home — quietly, thoroughly, so that nothing is ever asked of you but to enjoy the day. Years of hands-on craft, given to boats and the crews who run them.
It starts with time spent aboard — listening to the engine, walking the deck, learning what your boat needs and what she’s capable of. Only then do we shape a plan, made for her and for you, never pulled from a shelf.
Our crew brings her up to the standard we’d want for our own — ready for golden-hour runs with the people you love, and ready to welcome guests when you’re ashore. Cared for, either way.
When she’s resting, we let her earn her keep among our charter guests — quietly, on your terms. And when the time comes to pass her on, the years of honest care speak for themselves, and the next owner inherits a boat that was loved.
Success shouldn’t cost you the people who made it worth having. Yet most owners in Singapore end up juggling strangers — one number for repairs, another for charters, a third for the eventual sale. Everyone holds a piece; no one holds the whole. It’s a great deal of effort to own something that was meant to bring you peace.
Avelis keeps it all under one roof, with one crew who knows you and your boat by heart. We look after her, we welcome guests aboard when you wish, and one day we help you part with her gracefully — the same familiar faces, present for the whole of it. The water is simply where we gather everyone back together. Less to manage. More to simply enjoy.
This is where the story has been heading all along — you, aboard, among your people. Lantern light on the water, the marina at rest, the right faces gathered. Tell us a little about the day you have in mind — the rest is already handled.
